Who we are
Grafton District Scout Council are an excepted charity by the Charity Commissioner for England and Wales.
The Data Controller for Grafton District Scout Council is the Executive Committee who are appointed at an Annual General Meeting and are Charity Trustees. The Chair of the Charity Trustees is Rosemary Shaw who can be contacted via firstname.lastname@example.org.
From this point on, Grafton District Scout Council will be referred to as “we” or “our”.
Being a small charity, we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The contact forms in use on our website capture personal data when submitted. Our forms only capture personal data that is provided by yourself when completing the form.
Caldera Forms stores a record of all form submissions. Your data may be deleted by the site administrator. You may request a report of saved data related to your email address.
The data provided is shared via email with the relevant volunteer(s) so that your enquiry can be actioned. This platform will retain your details for a maximum of 28 days from the date of submission.
The information you submit through our contact forms will not used for marketing purposes.

We may share data supplied by you (or collected about you) with other parts of The Scout Association (e.g. Grafton District Scouts).
